First of all, you are only required to pay for major mac updates.. such has Snow Leopard or Lion. Other minor updates are free. The same goes for windows, you have to pay for Windows 7 or 8 however minor updates are free. And recent major Mac OSX Upgrades (Snow Leopard and Lion) have been $30. You should research your information before you go posting an article/comic.

Snow Leopard and Lion are like Windows Vista and 7.
All this says to me is Mac users are enthusiastic and willing to buy software. Hardly a bad thing.

Yeah, this actually has no bearing on reality. The last two major system updates have been $30. Every other software update is free, unless you’re going out and buying specialized software.
